Significance
The Kalachakra initiation (wang) is one of the largest Vajrayana empowerments, regularly conferred publicly by H.H. the Dalai Lama. The tantra introduces the concept of Shambhala - a hidden kingdom whose future king will defeat the forces of darkness and usher in a golden age.
